About Bloom & Begin

Calm, evidence-based support for every stage of the journey

Olivia Vince, her baby and dad

🌸 Hi, I’m Olivia

I’m an experienced Midwife and Community Public Health Nurse – and also a mum to a cheeky two‑year‑old boy, Otis.

Alongside my clinical and community work, my own pregnancy and birth experience profoundly shaped how I support parents. Even with a midwifery background, I experienced first‑hand how vulnerable pregnancy and birth can feel, and how vital clear, compassionate education is.

It highlighted just how empowering it is to truly understand your options, to feel confident asking questions, and to be able to advocate for yourself and your baby, whatever path your journey takes.

Bloom & Begin grew from a desire to offer something gentler. Antenatal education that feels calm, realistic and empowering, without fear‑mongering or pressure to do things a certain way.

I also bring experience supporting individuals and couples through fertility investigations and treatment, working clinically alongside patients navigating testing, uncertainty and complex decisions. This has further reinforced how important sensitive, evidence‑based information and emotional support are at every stage of the journey to parenthood.
